Flight Attendant Survives Worker’s Compensation Injury With A Lawsuit Loan

With a lawsuit loan, Mary Anne was able to receive cash today against the future cash settlement of her worker’s compensation claim to keep financially afloat while waiting for a settlement of her claim. After being seriously injured in an accident at work that was not her fault, Mary Anne discovered a lawsuit loan from Lawsuit Cash Advance, LLC could change her life.

Mary Anne worked as a flight attendant until she was injured on the job just days before Christmas 2002. While her flight was taxiing on a Wisconsin runway, Mary Anne was giving her standard flight safety briefing when the airplane lurched on the ground, causing a sudden pop in Mary Ann’s ankle. After immediately seeing her doctor, the injury was diagnosed as Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy, and Mary Ann’s doctor recommended surgery to repair the ankle.

Because of the injury, Mary Anne missed over 26 weeks of work and is still not back at her job. Because of the severity of the injury to her ankle, Mary Ann must use a walker to get around the house and still must take medication for the pain on a regular basis. This 30-year-old now has over $8,000 in medical bills with reconstructive surgery still ahead of her. After the surgery, Mary Ann will still need hours of physical therapy, only adding to her medical expenses. Despite the surgery, Mary Ann expects to have some form of permanent injury to her ankle and will have difficulty continuing to work at her current profession.

Although worker’s compensation will ultimately pay for her medical bills and lost wages, Mary Ann will probably never work again at her current profession. In the hope of receiving a lump sum settlement for her permanent injury, Mary Ann hired an attorney and filed a claim against her employer and her worker’s compensation insurance carrier. Although she has gone to mediation hearing three times to get her claim resolved, she still has not received the lump sum settlement she deserves. To make this claim even more complicated, Mary Ann lives in Nebraska, filed her worker’s comp claim against the airline in Missouri and the airline’s insurer is based out of Pennsylvania. To pay current living expenses while her claim drags on, Mary Ann decided to apply for a lawsuit loan.

Mary Anne checked out the different lawsuit loan companies and found one that seemed to be different. Their people treated her with professionalism and respect despite her financial troubles. The rates were competitive and the response time was fast. That company was Lawsuit Cash Advance, LLC, a leader in providing lawsuit loans to plaintiffs with high quality worker’s compensation claims and other types of lawsuits. Lawsuit Cash Advance, LLC provided Mary Anne with financial help from lawsuit loan when she needed it most.

Lawsuit Cash Advance, LLC is a leading provider of lawsuit cash advances. For questions about lawsuit cash advances (also known as a lawsuit loan, lawsuit funding or pre-settlement funding), call toll free 1-800-781-0777.
